Our precision Schottel drives are completely made of metal that will outlast the model life of your valuable ship and thus differ pleasantly from the plastic drives that are otherwise offered on the model building market. It is imperative to look for a high quality, durable product, because a Schottel drive built into the ship's hull can no longer be replaced without damaging your valuable model.

Our precision Schottel drives are characterized by the following features:

• Kort nozzle made of precisely turned aluminum, surface finish black anodized.
• Gear housing made of brass, with factory lubrication for life, surface finish glass bead blasted.
• Gear housing with radial shaft seal, 100% watertight.
• Drive shaft made of stainless steel, double ball bearing.
• Output shaft made of stainless steel, double ball bearing.
• High-precision, milled metal bevel gears made of steel are used to transmit power.
•  Propeller made of high-quality cast brass (up to diameter 60 mm) or soldered version (diameter 70, 80 mm)
• Toothed pulley made of aluminum for the rotary movement, pitch 2.5 mm (up to propeller diameter 50 mm)
• Toothed pulley made of aluminum for the rotary movement, pitch 5 mm (propeller diameter 60, 70, 80 mm)
• Toothed pulley made of aluminum for power transmission, pitch 2.5 mm (up to propeller diameter 50 mm)
• Toothed pulley made of aluminum for power transmission, pitch 5 mm (propeller diameter 60, 70, 80 mm)
• Flanged housing made of turned brass to accommodate the drive unit and for fastening in the ship's hull, with radial shaft seal, ball bearing and plain bearing.
