The heart of our bow thrusters with 2-piece plastic tubes is the gear unit, which is manufactured exclusively as an all-metal design. PVC plastic tubes are pushed onto the massive gear unit on both sides. These are glued to the brass tunnel of the gear unit by the ship model builder. The advantage of this split design is the ease with which the plastic tubes can be machined, as they can be easily adapted to the geometry of the fuselage.
