In bow thrusters with paddle propellers, the thrust is generated by a rotating paddle propeller. This results in a very narrow design, so that these bow thrusters can be installed in the bow of the ship model even in very tight spaces (see drawing in the respective "instruction manual").

Our bow thrusters are extremely powerful and are delivered completely pre-assembled including the Race 400 motor 
(7,2 Volts). The paddle propeller of our product is made from an extruded and anodized precision aluminum profile 
or a brass profile. A radial shaft seal reliably seals the motor unit on a precisely turned metal shaft and not on a 
soft ABS plastic shaft, as it is the case with other similar products on the market. Our construction guarantees a 
reliable seal even at high speeds and with long switch-on times of the electric motor; even when running dry! 
Sealing the motor unit with an O-ring seal on a soft ABS plastic shaft, as practiced by another manufacturer, leads to high wear of the 
soft ABS plastic shaft within a short time. This quickly leads to a leak in the product. This behavior is excluded in our construction.
